With the launch of the new version of Scorecast (the application with the purple icon), we made the choice to move to a 100% mobile experience. The classic website to validate your predictions is over.
We know that many of you liked to make your predictions quietly on the computer, whether at home or discreetly in the office between emails. The good news is that it's still possible by shaving a bit with an Android emulator.
We show you how to do it with BlueStacks, the easiest solution on the market.
To download BlueStacks, click here.
In summary, it is a software that simulates the screen of an Android smartphone directly on your computer. And to be clear: yes, it's 100% free. You don't have to pay at all or no subscriptions in BlueStacks to download and use Scorecast. The software simply displays ads or sponsored games on its own home screen, but once in Scorecast, the experience is exactly the same (and always free) as on your phone.
It runs on Windows (via the BlueStacks 5 version) as well as on Mac (even recent models with the M1, M2, etc., via the dedicated “BlueStacks Air” version).
Go on the official site of BlueStacks and download the version adapted to your system. Start the installation as with any other software.
Once BlueStacks is open, you are presented with a classic smartphone interface. Open the Google Play Store app. You will need to log in with a Gmail address (as if you were setting up a new phone) to be able to download applications.
In the Play Store search bar, type “Scorecast.” Look for our new application (the purple icon, not the blue one) and click on Install.
Start Scorecast from the emulator home screen. Enter your email to receive your login code (or use Apple, Google, Facebook). And that's it: you find your competitions, your friends and you can manage everything with the mouse and the keyboard.
Technical detail: for the emulator to run without slowing down your machine, your computer must have a minimum of memory (at least 4 GB of RAM on Windows, and 8 GB on Mac).
